A CONFERENCE FOR THOSE WITH A HEART FOR SOCIAL EXCLUSION
Welcome to the Heart Conference on October 25-26 at Södertörnkyrkan, October 27 Folkungakyrkan.
Sweden is facing major challenges - insecurity, exclusion and social misery. Many live in a parallel society and feel forgotten. Gang crime is a feature of our streets, and political solutions alone are not enough to tackle the problems. These are deeper and require something more - a change that can only come through reconciliation, hope and community in Christ.
The Heart Conference is about how we as churches and Christians can be part of this change. For three days we will gather to explore how we can love people living in darkness and how we can be a light in society and in our world. We believe that the deepest solution to our social problems is found in the Gospel and in relationships based on love and reconciliation.
For you as an individual or church who wants to help people in exclusion or work with the socially vulnerable, this is an opportunity to be encouraged, equipped and strengthened in your important work. We will have guests from England, Romania, Ukraine, Norway and Sweden sharing their experiences of working among vulnerable groups. Their testimonies show that change is possible and that there is hope!
