Account numbers are only saved for those who wish to pay by direct debit. We may retain the data for longer if we are required to do so by law or to protect our legal interests, for example, if there is an ongoing legal process. Your personal data may be stored for up to 48 months after your last transaction.
What is the data used for
When you make a donation, start a fundraiser, or contact us by phone or email, we will record your personal information in our database. We use the personal information you provide to manage inquiries and to maintain our own statistics. The information may also be used for informational and marketing purposes, as well as to monitor and develop Heart Sweden’s operations.
Who we share your data with
Heart Sweden will not sell, rent, or lease the personal data it has collected. How long we keep YOUR data
If you write a comment, the comment and its metadata will be stored indefinitely. The reason for this is that we need to be able to find and approve follow-up comments automatically and not queue them for review.

All users can view, edit or delete their personal data at any time (with the exception that they cannot change their username). Site administrators can also view and edit this information.
